Workplace Environment Goals:
Create an organization that is recognized for its commitment to diversity through our partnerships with diverse vendors, our marketing efforts, our superior customer service and community involvement.
Develop and maintain an inclusive work environment where all employees understand, celebrate and appreciate their differences and treat each other with respect and tolerance.

People's recognition that a truly diverse workplace can only happen when our managers and leaders understand, appreciate and encourage the value of diversity with a particular focus on diverse employees and diverse thinking. To that end, we offer a program for Managers' Certification that includes courses designed to educate managers on how to best attract, retain and develop talented employees.
People Development Goals:
Attract, retain and develop a diverse workforce that represents and understands the diverse markets and customers we serve.
We also conduct a Diversity and Inclusion Assessment survey that focuses specifically on our employees’ perceptions around diversity. The results of this survey are used by a “Diversity Steering Team” both to plan future initiatives and to measure the results of the team's efforts over time.
Evaluate managers on a frequent basis on the following diversity best practices:
Leadership and management commitment
Employee involvement
Strategic planning
Sustained investment
Diversity indicators
Accountability, measurements, and evaluation
Linkage to organizational goals and objectives
Provide training and tools that focus on best practices for diversity.
Offer resources to our employees on diversity through a variety of communications channels, including the Internet, class sessions, videos, etc.
